The Library

The University's library, with its ten divisions, is one of the largest libraries in Armenia. There are specialized reading rooms in a number of faculties with collections that are constantly enhanced by the further addition of academic and scholarly literature. To better serve readers an interlibrary loan system was created. There is a division for old and rare book editions where old and rare books dating from the beginning of the 17th century are kept.

Over 14,000 readers, students, lecturers, post-graduates, researchers and other affiliates of the University have access to the University collection of approximately two million books.

Among the University's 100 partners in the international exchange of books are the United States Library of Congress, the National Library of the Russian Federation ,and university and academic libraries in the United States, France, England, Germany, Italy, Argentina and elsewhere.
